Happy Family
Mother and a Child

  • At Nannymatchmaker, we take great care in selecting our nannies. We have a set criteria* that they must meet before we consider them for the role. Our nannies need to have a level of education, childcare qualification/degree/teaching qualification, as well as paediatric first aid training. Additionally, they must have an enhanced DBS and can demonstrate good verbal and written command of the English language. They must have undergone child protection/safeguarding training and have two years of experience working in childcare. We make sure that all our nannies are thoroughly vetted and qualified to ensure that your children are in safe hands.

  • This tailored approach is designed with Zero Hassle for parents. All you have to think about at the interview stage. Will this person fit within your family unit?

  • We met our nannies and families. Chemistry is everything. Once we have shortlisted your candidate, all you need to focus on is the initial interview with your shortlisted candidate.

  • When your search stops you. We would supply an induction package and settling-in process. We do offer support and guidance with payroll and nanny contracts.

  • With every placement, we credit the family with two backup care days. This is where we would assign our Nanny surrogates to support your family.

  • With every placement, we will be on hand to deliver the best support to your nanny. Every family works towards ensuring their nanny is continuing professional development training sessions as required. That is why our Raising Little People Academy was born.

  • We can support you with headhunting your nanny. Logistically, sometimes we cannot get to certain destinations. If this is the case we still can support your placement. The support will include writing your advertisement for the attention of our agency contacts, screening CVs, holding interviews on numerous platforms and shortlisting to recommend suitable candidates.

  • We would follow our robust and well-vetted recruitment process to ensure the candidate meets all credentials for our seal of approval. Stated above *

Our 9 Trust Principles at Raising Little People

Trust is everything, Our 9 Trust Principles outline the checks we do and the service we offer

We meet the nannies and families and verify both parties:

This is extremely important to showcase this isn't one sided which a lot of companies make sure only the nannies are verified. We stand together with this and initially verify both parties using their passport or driving license. (This approach is completed initially online and in person)

Background checks:

This online background check is an addition to what we do once the nanny is registering with us. This is an adverse media check and is not the same thing as a DBS check. Their DBS will be an addition to this.

DBS verification:

This is a requirement; we only accept an Enhanced DBS application. We offer the nannies the option of getting one through our platform. You cannot register with us without an update to DBS.

Nannies signing up to our platform must also supply three references from employers or families they’ve worked with before.

Nannies have been interviewed by our Nanny matchmakers. There are two parts of our interview process and we do see them in action with little ones. Our Nanny matchmakers have 15 years of experience interviewing Early Years practitioners whether it is to staff a nursery or a nanny placement. We are educated in Early Years Education and are raising our own little ones.

Meeting your new nanny:

Raising Little People supports parents to arrange a interview with the nanny they’re thinking of choosing. It’s a wonderful way of getting comfortable with someone new. We do suggest two interviews. One with the parents and one meeting the whole family.

Every Nanny needs third party public liability insurance as standard. We ensure we discuss the family on what they need when employing a nanny.

Raising Little People Academy:

Nannies can gain insights and skills from our online training platform, with expert resources on topics such as first aid, weaning, potty training, safeguarding and wellbeing. Many more!

Your Nanny Matchmakers:

We are the experts in the field. Our nannies are the best and we see them in practice ourselves. We will give you a holistic view from a professional and from a nurturing mother's view too.  Our nannies are vetted and simply wonderful at their work. All you must think about are they the right fit for us? That is all! Everything else is covered. Once this is covered, we support you with induction, settling in process, payroll and admin support, ongoing support and Back up care. We are here for it all.
